We appreciate that, due to the extensive range of possible treatments, the price list can look confusing. Most patients require only one of the major treatments and 90% of total bills for consultation, treatment and follow up are below £2100 for one leg and below £2400 for both legs. An accurate estimate of costs can usually be provided at the time of consultation.

Why are you so much cheaper than other clinics? I don’t want to pay more than I have to but I worry I may be getting an inferior service. These are comments we frequently receive and we have been advised on many occasions that we should increase our prices! We can state categorically that the quality of our services is our topmost priority. The reasons that we can keep our prices so reasonable and also (unlike most) be upfront with patients about prices in advance of treatment are as follows: 1 We only do veins and do them well. Most private hospitals subsidise other services by the profits made on vein treatments. 2 We treat very large numbers of patients which has five great advantages i. Our huge experience enables us to undertake the treatments very quickly and efficiently and be confident that we can offer safe and effective outpatient treatment to all in a set time slot. ii. We can negotiate very good deals on bulk purchasing of expensive medical devices, drugs etc. We can also demand our own exacting specification for all equipment. iii. Our administration systems have been streamlined and our staff can deal knowledgeably and efficiently with most contacts. iiii. We make optimum use of expensive capital equipment and premises. v. We can afford to invest in the latest, the best and the widest range of equipment to give patients the most appropriate treatment for their individual needs. Be wary of clinics just offering say VNUS or just offering laser. 3 We utilise, where we can, our own CQC registered premises so are totally in control of our processes and costs. 4 We fundamentally believe that keeping prices low is good and fair and increases demand so we can i. Continue to drive down costs and avoid inflationary price rises. Our prices have not increased for 5 years. ii.Improve quality by constantly and rapidly increasing experience and expertise. We try our best to keep all charges as low as we reasonably can by making full use of our resources. We are sorry therefore to have to insist that a NON REFUNDABLE deposit of £200 is paid immediately on booking your treatment. Cancelling an appointment within a week of treatment is very disruptive to efficient running of the service and we would appreciate it if all patients would do their best to avoid doing so. Many thanks for your cooperation. If you do not inform us that you cannot attend and fail to turn up for a booked consultation the full consultation fee will still be charged.

The prices for EVLT and VNUS Closure® include the initial follow up appointment and any sclerotherapy undertaken at that visit. A charge will normally be leivied for any additional follow ups or sclerotherapy sessions required.

We have had many delighted patients who had been quoted up to £8000 elsewhere for treatment over several sessions and had their entire treatment undertaken by us at one visit for under £2000. Most hospitals are very cagey about their prices: ask them to quote a fixed price and see what we mean!
