WHY ARE WE CHEAPER THAN OTHER CLINICS?
IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
You will see the same consultant throughout your treatment journey and so it is useful to note that:
a) As each consultant is based at only one clinic location, you are unable to switch locations once you have attended for a consultation without attending for (and paying for) a new consultation with another consultant.
e.g. You are unable to have a consultation in London and treatment in Bristol
e.g. You are unable to have treatment in Nottingham and follow-up in London
b) If your first appointment is on a certain day of the week (e.g. a Monday) it is likely (but not 100% certain) that all future appointments will also be on that day. Each consultant tends to commit to working with Veincentre on set days of the week alongside their commitments to the NHS. If you have set days you can attend please let us know on booking.
We offer a limited number of Saturday appointments at our Nottingham and Oxfordshire clinics.
We are recognised by all the major health insurers including BUPA and AXA-PPP. If you have any difficulty getting authorisation please contact us and we will be happy to contact them directly.
BUPA PATIENTS. Please read: IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS INSURED WITH BUPA
0% Interest Free Credit is available over 10 months if you undergo Radial Fibre EVLA.
We strongly disagree with misleading statements issued by private hospitals and clinics to try to justify high prices like "As in many areas of life you get what you pay for". This principle just does not apply to private medicine.
See our blog on UK Private Medicine Prices which exposes the ridiculous variation in prices of private medicine which bear no relation to experience, reputation, quality or service.
We have had many delighted patients who had been quoted up to £15,000 elsewhere, for treatment over several sessions, and had their entire treatment undertaken by us at one visit for under £2,000. Most hospitals are very cagey about their prices. Ask them to quote a fixed price and see what we mean.
Unfortunately we have had to introduce the payment of a non-refundable deposit on booking any appointment. We ask for a £50 deposit when booking an initial consultation and a £300 deposit when booking treatment. The remaining balance is due on, or before, the day of your appointment.
For more information, please see FAQs:
WHY DO WE TAKE A DEPOSIT? & WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
VAT is not payable on most of our procedures but please note that due to thread veins being deemed to be cosmetic VAT is charged on top of treatment costs. The procedures affected are Thermocoagulation and Microsclerotherapy Injections as initial or subsequent treatment after undergoing EVLA, Embolisation, Clarivein, Foam Sclerotherapy, Avulsions/ Phlebectomies or Sapheon.
