HOW LONG DO I NEED TO WEAR MY COMPRESSION STOCKINGS FOR?
Immediately following any treatment you will need to wear a Class II Compression stocking(s). Your stocking(s) must be worn for 1 week following any treatment.
The stocking(s) should be worn continuously for 3 days and nights (72 hours) following treatment.
After 3 days you may take the stocking off to have a warm (not too hot) bath only. Very hot baths should be avoided for two weeks. No showers allowed.
When you get out of the bath, please sit down to dry yourself and put on your stocking. Don’t stand up until the stocking is fitted.
To reapply the stocking, turn it inside out up to the heel, put your foot in first and then roll up bit by bit. There should be no creases or wrinkles.
You may bathe daily, after 3 days, providing you follow these instructions. If the stocking is not worn as suggested, your treatment may fail.
You will be supplied with one pair of Class II Compression Stockings. If you would like to order an additional pair, at a discounted price of £55.00 (RRP: £76.99), please let us know before your treatment date and we will arrange for the extra pair to be at the clinic in time for your appointment. If you are an insured patient, additional stockings will not be paid for by your insurance company.
