AFTER THE OPERATION, DO YOU HAVE TO WEAR THOSE STOCKINGS? AND IF SO, FOR HOW LONG, AND WILL THEY GET IN THE WAY OF DAILY LIFE?
Following any treatment you will be required to wear a Class II Compression stocking(s). The stocking must be worn for 1 week. It needs to be worn continuously for 3 days and nights (72 hours) following treatment. After 3 days, you can take the stocking off to have a warm bath but immediately after the stocking must be reapplied.
The only thing the stocking interfers with is swimming, as you cannot get it wet. We advise you avoid horseriding for a week after treatment but other that that, you can carry on with your normal daily activities.
