Our Journey
At VeinCentre, we specialise exclusively in the diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins, because we believe everyone deserves to feel confident, comfortable, and free from the discomfort that vein conditions can cause.
Our journey began when our founder, a leading UK vascular consultant, saw pioneering varicose vein treatments in action during a visit to the USA. Inspired by their effectiveness and simplicity, he brought these advanced techniques back to the UK and opened the first VeinCentre clinic in Stoke-on-Trent – where our head office proudly remains to this day.
From those roots, we’ve grown to become the UK’s largest and most established vein care provider, with over 40 clinics nationwide – making world-class treatment accessible in local communities across the country.
Our vascular consultants specialise in walk-in, walk-out treatments for varicose veins, venous leg ulcers, and facial thread veins – all avoiding the need for general anaesthetic. Every procedure is minimally invasive, clinically proven, and designed to help you get back to normal life quickly and confidently.
To date, we’ve performed over 50,000 procedures. Our consultants are not only leaders in patient care, but also at the forefront of vascular surgery, research, and innovation, writing best-selling medical textbooks, collaborating with Imperial College London, and working closely with the UK Government to raise awareness of national vein health.
