Life Before Vein Treatment
Paul struggled with a painful varicose vein in his left leg, which had also led to venous eczema, a common but uncomfortable symptom caused by increased pressure in the veins. Paul had his treatment at VeinCentre Sheffield with Vascular Consultant Dr. Mark Regi. He underwent Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA), a walk-in, walk-out procedure recommended by NICE. There was no need for a general anaesthetic, and the process was quick and straightforward.

Life After Treatment
Just a few months after his vein treatment, Paul was able to enjoy his holiday feeling at ease and proud to show his legs again. The treatment had significantly improved both the appearance and condition of his left leg, meaning he could comfortably wear shorts – something he had previously avoided.
