Vein Treatment at Veincentre Southampton

At Veincentre Southampton, we treat varicose veins, thread veins (spider veins), leg ulcers and thread veins on the face. Your treatment journey for vein conditions in the legs will start with a consultation with one of our experienced consultants, where a duplex ultrasound scan will be performed to determine whether there is an underlying cause to your vein problems (varicose veins), or whether it is just cosmetic (thread veins). The consultant will then explain to you the results of the scan and talk you through a tailored treatment plan.

Treatment for Varicose Veins

  • Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) – the Gold Standard treatment used to treat the underlying condition of varicose veins
  • Foam Sclerotherapy – mostly used as a secondary treatment following EVLA
  • Avulsions – involve physically removing varicose veins and can be done alongside EVLA

Treatment for Thread Veins (Spider Veins)

  • Microsclerotherapy – the most effective and most common form of thread vein treatment

Treatment for Face Veins (Facial Thread Veins)

Your face vein treatment journey will begin with a free consultation based on the photos you send to us and your answers to our screening questions, followed by treatment at the same appointment.

  • Thermavein (Thermocoagulation) – the Gold standard treatment for face vein removal

    How to get to us

Our clinic can be seen clearly as you drive past, identified by the large signage that says ’46 The Avenue’.

You need to be on the side of the road where St Andrew’s Church is, once you pass the church you will see ‘Avenue Road’ as the last left turn before the clinic. If you drive on the side of the road where you see ‘The Priory’ or Lidl – you will need to turn at the roundabout.

Once you are on the correct side of the road and see ‘Avenue Road’, keep going and keep an eye out for the sign that says ’46 The Avenue’ on the left hand side of the road. We are next to (but before) the Elizabeth House Hotel and Travelodge.

You will see the entrance to our car park at the very end of the gates directly in front of the clinic. You will need a permit to park in our spaces, which you can get from the receptionist. If our car park is full, Lidl car park has free parking for 2 hours. The postcode is SO15 2XD and is a 3 minute walk from the clinic.

The nearest train station is Southampton Central which is 1.3 miles from the clinic and would take you 7 minutes in a car or 26 minutes to walk.
