Home – Clinics – Stoke Veincentre Stoke-on-Trent Veincentre Stoke was established in 2003 and was the first vein clinic in the UK to be set up specifically for minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins and removal of thread veins – without the need for surgery. Our Stoke clinic is also home to our Patient Advisory Team. This vein clinic is within driving distance from the West Midlands, e.g. Shrewsbury and Telford. If London patients want to take advantage of lower-cost EVLA treatment, they tend to choose to travel to Stoke, as there is a direct train from Euston (the journey takes around 85 minutes). Home – Clinics – Stoke Varicose Veins Treatment in Stoke At Veincentre Stoke, we treat varicose veins, thread veins (spider veins) and leg ulcers. Your treatment journey will start with a consultation with one of our experienced consultants, where a duplex ultrasound scan will be performed to determine whether there is an underlying cause to your vein problems. The consultant will then explain to you the results of the scan and talk you through a tailored treatment plan. We offer the below treatments at Veincentre Stoke for varicose veins: Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) – the Gold Standard treatment used to treat the underlying condition of varicose veins Foam Sclerotherapy – mostly used as a secondary treatment following EVLA Avulsions – involve physically removing varicose veins and can be done alongside EVLA Walk in, walk out Vein treatments are performed on an outpatient basis under local anaesthetic. Trish 10-01-2022 Recently had varicose vein treatment – and the results are totally amazing- I have a new leg !!! The team are all very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend the vein centre STOKE. Frank 18-11-2021 I am very pleased with the treatment I received and the staff who dealt with me. The consultant and supporting nurse were both very professional and explained carefully what would happen and follow up advice. I would recommend them. I should have had this procedure earlier. Samantha 22-02-2021 Can not fault any of the care received during treatment by all members of the team. Comminucation from start to finish has been excellent and the team has been brilliant all the way through the treatment. Thank you. Jane 09-06-2021 Honestly, I wish I had had this treatment done years ago, It would have meant I was more comfortable walking, and happier wearing dresses or skirts. It was straightforward, clearly explained, friendly staff, and professional. The receptionist was welcoming and the waiting area was clean and calm. Covid rules were followed. I highly recommend this clinic. Barry 20-01-2020 This efficient friendly service has allowed me to walk again without the agonising pain of nearly 2 years wait for NHS treatment. The process was explained fully beforehand and was carried out under local anaesthetic. I would not hesitate to use this service if needed in the future and would recommend the Veincentre to anyone else with similar problems.
