Dr Richard Guinness is the Lead Interventional Radiologist at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. He has been a Interventional Radiology consultant in Exeter since 2008.
He trained in medicine at Guy’s and Thomas’ Medical School (London University).
After completion of basic surgical training (MRCS) he specialised in Radiology (FRCR) completing specialist training in Interventional Radiology (IR) 2007. Following this he completed a Fellowship in IR at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada.
He is now the lead IR in Exeter and a trainer in the South-West IR training scheme.
