How Was Life Before Jemima’s Varicose Vein Treatment
Before receiving treatment at VeinCentre, Jemima had endured more than eight years of constant varicose vein symptoms. What began at 16 as tolerable discomfort worsened during her physically demanding drama degree, often forcing her to sit out or adapt performances.
Training for her dream job as a primary school teacher, long days on her feet left her in unbearable pain, unable to exercise or socialise and instead going straight home to put her feet up.
She longed to run a half marathon like her dad, travel without worrying about pain or appearance, and explore cities without planning constant rest breaks. She can now get through an eight-hour day on her feet and still make plans afterwards without worrying about cancelling. Sitting comfortably without a footrest, she feels she has a new lease on life. Jemima is thrilled to say “yes” to things again and is looking forward to a girls’ city trip.
