What Made Victoria Seek Treatment?
Victoria’s varicose veins became much more noticeable during her pregnancy with her son, almost 19 years ago. Although they weren’t causing symptoms, their appearance affected what she felt comfortable wearing.
“I definitely wouldn’t wear shorts and things like that, or I’d wear shorts that would cover it because they were quite bulgy and I could notice them.”
While Victoria admits other people may not have noticed her veins as much as she did, they were something she had become increasingly aware of.
How Would Victoria Describe Her Experience with VeinCentre?
Victoria found the whole treatment journey much easier and more straightforward than she had expected. Knowing what was happening at each stage helped her feel comfortable throughout.
“It was quite quick, quite simple. My Consultant and nurse explained what was happening. I knew what to expect next. So yeah, it was all quite straightforward.”
“It was it was a really positive experience overall.”
The experience was also something Victoria was able to share with her daughter, Influencer + Business Owner Maisie Crompton, who supported her throughout her treatment journey.
How Has Life Been Since Treatment?
One of the biggest changes since treatment has been how Victoria feels about showing her legs. She’s now much happier wearing shorts, particularly after enjoying a warm summer.
Maisie has noticed the difference in her mum too:
“I’ve just noticed that you feel a lot more confident. You’re happier to go out in shorts, which has been great for this summer and overall just happier with the way that it looks.”
For Maisie, being there to support her mum throughout the journey made the experience even more special.
“It’s been something that we’ve come and done together. So we’ve been we’ve been through it together, even though it wasn’t my legs. But it’s been really good.”
