Please note that there is no lift or step-free access at VeinCentre Edinburgh. The clinic is located in the basement and is reached via 15 stone steps down from Charlotte Square, with a banister on the right-hand side.
Once inside the clinic, there are no further steps. However, due to the entrance layout, the clinic may not be suitable for patients using wheelchairs or those with significant mobility limitations.

Are treatments carried out at VeinCentre Edinburgh?
Yes. VeinCentre Edinburgh provides consultant-led treatment on site for varicose veins and thread veins.
All procedures are carried out in our Edinburgh clinic and are designed to be walk-in, walk-out, with no general anaesthetic and no hospital stay. Treatments may include EVLA, foam sclerotherapy, microsclerotherapy or thermocoagulation, depending on your individual needs.
Do I need a GP referral to be seen at the Edinburgh clinic?
No, you do not need a GP referral to book an appointment at VeinCentre Edinburgh. You are welcome to self refer and arrange a consultation directly with one of our experienced Vascular Consultants.
Please note that VeinCentre is a private clinic and we do not accept NHS referrals. If you have been referred through the NHS, you would need to be seen within an NHS service rather than at our clinic.
