How to get to us
By Car
VeinCentre Poole is located just off the main A35 on Dorchester Road, directly behind The Bakers Arms pub.
We recommend using The Bakers Arms pub postcode when using a satnav, rather than the clinic’s postcode, as the clinic postcode can take you too far down Dorchester Road.
Once you arrive behind The Bakers Arms, look for the large VeinCentre sign on the front of our wooden chalet-style building.
There are three VeinCentre parking spaces directly in front of the clinic. These are reserved for VeinCentre patients.
If these spaces are full, please do not park in other spaces as the car park is shared with other businesses. Instead, patients can use The Bakers Arms car park, which has plenty of parking available.
If you need any assistance planning your visit, our team will be happy to help.

By Public Transport
VeinCentre Poole is accessible by train, bus and taxi.
By Train:
- Holton Heath Railway Station – approximately a 5-minute drive from the clinic.
- Poole Railway Station – approximately a 15-minute drive from the clinic.
Holton Heath Railway Station provides connections towards Poole and Swanage, while Poole Railway Station offers rail connections to Bournemouth, Southampton, London and other destinations across the South Coast and wider UK.
By Bus:
The nearest bus stop is The Bakers Arms, located directly outside the pub on Dorchester Road and close to the clinic.
The 40 bus service stops at The Bakers Arms and provides connections between Poole, Lytchett Minster, Wareham, Corfe Castle and Swanage.
The X54 Jurassic Coaster also provides a connection from Weymouth towards Poole, while the Purbeck Breezer 40 connects Swanage and Poole via Lytchett Minster. Please check current bus timetables when planning your journey.
By Taxi:
Taxis are generally available from Poole town centre and Poole and Holton Heath railway stations, and many patients also choose to use app-based services such as Uber. If you would like help arranging a taxi after your appointment, our reception team will be happy to assist.
Accessibility Information
The driveway to the clinic is gravel and there is a slight lip at the clinic doorway.
There are three parking spaces directly in front of the clinic. For patients with mobility difficulties, a drop-off directly in front of the clinic can provide easier access.
There is a downstairs toilet available, although it is not large enough to accommodate a wheelchair.
If you have any specific access requirements or would like to discuss your visit in advance, please contact our team and we will be happy to help.
