By Car
VeinCentre York is located on Westminster Place Business Park, just off York’s outer ring road and the A1237, providing easy access from York and the surrounding areas.
The clinic is located at Suite G1, Kensington House. There is ample free parking directly outside the clinic, and patients can park in any available space within the car park. The spaces are not specifically reserved for VeinCentre.

By Public Transport
VeinCentre York is accessible by train, bus and taxi.
By Train:
- Poppleton Railway Station – approximately a 20-minute walk from Westminster Place.
Poppleton Station provides connections towards York and Harrogate, with onward connections available across North Yorkshire and the wider region. York Business Park is located close to Poppleton Railway Station.
York Railway Station is also accessible from the clinic and provides direct and connecting services to destinations including Leeds, Harrogate, Scarborough, Hull, Sheffield, Manchester, London and destinations across the North East and Scotland.
By Bus:
The nearest bus stop is approximately a 2-minute walk from Westminster Place.
Bus services operating in the surrounding area provide connections into York city centre and nearby towns. Services from nearby Poppleton include routes 10, 10L, 59, 82 and 84, depending on the destination and time of travel. Please check the current bus timetable before travelling, as routes and times may change.
By Taxi:
Taxis are generally available from York city centre and York railway station, and many patients also choose to use app-based services such as Uber. If you would like help arranging a taxi after your appointment, our reception team will be happy to assist.

Are treatments carried out at VeinCentre York?
Yes. VeinCentre York provides consultant-led treatment on site for varicose veins and thread veins.
All procedures are carried out in our York clinic and are designed to be walk-in, walk-out, with no general anaesthetic and no hospital stay. Treatments may include EVLA, foam sclerotherapy and microsclerotherapy, depending on your individual needs.
Do I need a GP referral to be seen at the York clinic?
No, you do not need a GP referral to book an appointment at VeinCentre York. You are welcome to self refer and arrange a consultation directly with one of our experienced Vascular Consultants.
Please note that VeinCentre is a private clinic and we do not accept NHS referrals. If you have been referred through the NHS, you would need to be seen within an NHS service rather than at our clinic.
If you are planning to use private medical insurance, your insurer may require an authorisation code before your appointment. We recommend contacting them in advance to confirm your cover. If you have any questions about the process, our team will be happy to guide you.
