Varicose veins are a common problem, affecting up to 1 in 3 adults in their lifetime. They are usually a sign of an underlying venous insufficiency.
Thread veins can appear anywhere on the body but are mostly evidenced on the legs and face. They are more common than varicose veins, affecting up to 80% of adults.
Leg ulcers appear as broken skin in the lower leg or feet. We have been successfully treating venous leg ulcers for over 20 years.

We just do veins and are the most experienced clinic in Europe. We strive to provide patients with the best possible service in a friendly environment.
Diane was the first secretary to join Deborah in 2007 to help run the ever-expanding Veincentre Head Office and we can’t thank her enough for her dedication and hard work. She is efficient and unflappable. Alongside her hectic Office Manager role, Diane also deals with the company’s HR duties.
Diane trained as a medical secretary and worked for many years at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire where she managed the office of a busy Consultant Physician.
She has a quiet demeanour yet copes admirably with the many consultants and their foibles (almost always with a smile on her face!)
Diane lives in the same village as Deborah and David and can often be found walking her daughter’s lively Springer Spaniel, Roxie, around the lanes.
